The proposed additional exit from the CN Brampton Intermodal Terminal at 7 Ward Rd & will be used for trucks in the north end of the terminal. By adding the supplemental exit, a portion of the traffic currently exiting the terminal at Intermodal Dr. will be able to exit onto Ward Rd. The proposal reduces volume at the main gate and therefore reduces congestion issues at Intermodal Dr. and terminal dwell thereby reducing greenhouse gases.
