The proposed Minor OPA will amend the York Region Official Plan (“YROP”) and Vaughan Official Plan (“VOP”) 2010 to introduce a site-specific policy framework for the Subject Lands that identifies the lands as an “employment area” as defined by the Planning Act and PPS, and also enables ongoing permissions for uses that were lawfully established before October 20, 2024, in accordance with Planning Act subsections 1(1.1) and 1(1.2).
